3Daywise Itinerary
Arrive bangalore and drive to mysore (140kms /
3.5hrs) Upon arrival at Bangalore, meet
assistance followed by transfer to the palace
city of South India - Mysore. Enroute visit
"Tippu Summer palace" at Srirengapatnam. Proceed
to Mysore and onward sightseeing of mysore
visiting - Famous "Palace of Mysore" - Built in
1912 in the Indo Saracenic style, this palace
exudes a grandeur that is unmatched. Then on
visit the "Jayachanarajendra Art Gallery" housed
in the Jaganmohan palace - that has a collection
of Exquisite paintings dating back to 1875.
Proceed to visit the bull temple (a 4.8mts
monolith) on the middle of hill on the way to
Chamundi temple and then on to visit the
"Chamumdi Hill Temple" at a height of 1062mts.
You will end the day with a visit to the
beautiful Brindavan Gardens.
Day 1
Mysore to ooty (150 kms/3.5 hrs) Check out from
hotel after breakfast and drive to Ooty - also
known as Nigiris. The drive through the forest
roads of Bandipur and Mudumalai and onward the
uphill winding roads is filled with scenic
natural beauty. You may also make a stop by at
Mudumalai to take a regular Jungle safari at
Mudumalai national park (safari organized by
forest department and tickets available at forest
information center in Mudumalai on direct
purchase). Later proceed to reach Ooty. Check in
to hotel and a relaxed evening in the laps of
nature.

4In ooty / Sightseeing of Ooty Breakfast at
residing hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing
tour of Ooty visiting the famous Botanical garden
- spread over a huge area of 22 hectares and
with more than 650 species of flowers and trees,
is a horticulturist's delight. The highlight of
the garden is a fossil tree that is believed to
be 20 million years old. The Doddabetta peak - at
an altitude of 8,606 feet is one of the highest
point of South India. The view of Nilgiris from
here is breathtaking. The Rose Garden - located
in the heart of Ooty is one of the largest rose
gardens in India and also a popular tourist
attraction. The beautiful garden is spread across
10 acres of land and houses some of the largest
collections of roses in the country. The Wax
museum here in is also interesting to visits. End
your day at the Ooty lake - a 2.5-kilometre long
lake meandering through the scenic beauty of the
Nilgiris. You could indulge in many activties
here like boating, cycling around the lake, horse
riding etc. (Overnight stay at hotel in Ooty)
Day 3
In ooty / Sightseeing to coonoor After breakfast,
we proceed to Coonoor by the famous Toy Train for
a beautiful ride from Ooty - Coonoor. Upon
reaching Coonoor the driver will pick you from
station and proceed for sightseeing visiting -
Sim's park - a beautiful botanical garden located
in Coonoor in the Nilgiris district, Sim's Park
is a popular tourist attraction. Developed in
1874 this park is home to a variety of unusual
species of plants, which have been brought from
different parts of the world. The Lamb's rock -
located about 8 kilometers form Coonoor, Lamb's
Rock offers spectacular views of the lush
forest, Nilgiri hills and coffee and tea estates.
Lamb's Rock also makes for an excellent picnic
spot. The Dolphin nose - a viewpoint situated
more than 1,000 feet above sea level. It is a
unique rock formation and its peak resembles a
dolphin's nose from where it gets its name. The
drive up to Dolphin's Nose is quite spectacular.
After sightseeing drive back to Ooty.

5Departure To Bangalore/Coimbatore Breakfast at
residing hotel. Checkout from the hotel and the
tour ends today with a departure transfer to
Bangalore/ Coimbatore airport or railway station
for your return journey.
