then we are going to share steps with you which
will help you in this regard.
4Lets have a look at the steps.
- Open Microsoft outlook 2010. For first time
users, a welcome screen will appear. Follow the
guided instructions mentioned on the screen to
move forward. In case this window doesnt appear,
you need to open File menu. - Open Info page.
- Click to Add a new account. A new email account
menu will pop up on screen.
5- Click on Manual to configure the account server
settings manually. - Go to next window.
- Select Internet mail.
- Click Next. A settings window will now open on
the screen with POP type account settings
displayed by default.
6- Change the account type to IMAP from POP3 type.
- Now, enter the name you want to get displayed on
the sent screen. - Enter the email address of your TWC email login
account. - Enter the same email address twice to confirm the
outgoing and incoming mail servers. - If prompted for a username, enter it once.
7- Enter the same password you used to log in to the
account. - Click on Remember password If you know that
your device is used only by you but not by any
other member of your family. - Open your email from the outlook program.
- If your device is accessed by multiple users,
then they can easily open your Roadrunner webmail
mail and may misuse it. So, dont forget to
uncheck Remember password option.
8- Dont forget to uncheck the option which says,
Require login with secure password
authorization. - Open More settings.
- From here, go to Outgoing server tab.
- Click to enable SMTP authorization.
- Use the same server settings for your outgoing
server mail settings.
9- Enter the port number for incoming and outgoing
server ports if not set by default. - Use SSL authentication for your account. This
will protect your account from the server to
client end. - For outgoing server, use TLS or encrypted
connection from the drop-down list. - Dont change the port number for the server if
not prompted. If you have changed by mistake then
set to factory default settings.
10- Tap OK to open the mail settings page.
- Click to check the IMAP configurations. For this,
you will have to open the test settings page. If
this page opens, then it means the configuration
is successful for outlook 2010 or 2013. If there
is some problem or error showing up on the
screen, then click on error number to resolve the
issue. - Close the window by clicking on Save button.
11Summary
Now, open outlook 2010 and check your RR mail if
available on the left side of the screen or not.
If not, then there is some problem. If you find
your email, then it means your TWC account is
