How To Drive Car Safely
  • The idea of ??a car accident is very disturbing,
but taking precautions will help you avoid them.
In this section of TeenDriving.com, we review
some of the best simple practices to be on the
road, making turns, driving in bad weather,
passing, driving on your school campus and the
    dreaded merger.
  • We also talk about how to avoid an accident and
what to do if you have one. If you really need
Used Auto Parts for you damaged parts you can
    contact us.

GENERAL TIPS FOR DRIVING
  • Something as quick and easy as putting on a
seatbelt or cleaning the windshield can mean the
difference between life and death. Being aware of
yourself and other drivers and practicing a good
road tag is also important. Here are some tips to
keep it in mind and safe.

4
Simple but crucial
  • Obey the speed limits. Going too fast gives you
less time to stop or react. Speeding is one of
the main causes of accidents in adolescents.
  • Always use a seatbelt and make sure that all
passengers fasten their seat belts. Do not try to
install more people in the car than you have a
    safety belt to use.
  • Adjust the headrest of your car to a height
behind your head, not your neck, to minimize
whiplash in the event of an accident.
  • Make sure your windshield is clean. At dawn and
dusk, the light reflected on your dirty
windshield can momentarily prevent you from
    seeing what is happening.
  • Experts now recommend that you hold the steering
wheel at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock on the wheel, or
even lower at 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock. If you are
in an accident and the airbags are activated, you
will be more secure with your hands that will not
blow your face by the impact of the airbags.

5
Consider other drivers
  • Do not drive as if you were the owner of the
road. Drive as if you were the owner of the car.
  • Do not make assumptions about what other drivers
will do. The only thing you can assume about
another controller with a turn signal is that
they have a flashing light. He / she could not
turn at all, and simply forgot to turn it off.
  • Be careful with aggressive drivers and try to
stay out of your way. They are the cause of many
    accidents, especially on motorways.
  • Never get out in front of anyone and do not get
    involved in someone else's way.

6
Consciousness Gap or space
  • Make sure your car always has gas do not drive
    with the empty indicator.
  • If you are in the country, be careful with deer
and other animals. If you see an animal
approaching, slow down and turn on the lights
several times. Twilight and dawn are particularly
difficult times for animals, so stay tuned.
  • When the light turns green, make sure the
    intersection clears before leaving.

7
Driving around the school
  • If you are lucky enough to have your own car,
it's great! But it's important to be careful when
driving around your school campus, or even when
you park there. Here are some tips to keep in
    mind.
  • Always stop on school buses with flashing
lights. Flashing lights mean that students get on
or off the bus and can cross the street. Your
safety depends on the cars obeying this law.
  • Do not park in fire halls around the school. Not
only will you get a ticket, but it could also
block the area where you might need a fire truck.
  • Try to go to school five or ten minutes early,
and let him arrive five minutes late to avoid the
crazy ride in and out of the parking lot. There
are many accidents when people are in a hurry.
  • Always watch children get on and off school
    buses.
  • If your school grounds have perpendicular spaces
(without inclined parking), park in a space that
you can pull directly instead of backing up.
Going back in crowded terrain is always
    difficult.
  • Do not leave valuables such as purses, shoes,
laptops, jackets, phones or sports equipment in
your car, where they can be easily seen.
