1Single View Drawing Exercise
2Locate the center line of the part and the
horizontal and vertical center lines for the
holes
OFFSET
3Use the Offset command to locate vertical and
horizontal Object lines, then change them to The
Object line layer
4 Offset 1.60 to locate ending point of the 15
degree line Use the Line command with Relative
coordinates to add additional lines
Offset the center line to locate the vertical
position of the .60 and .80 horizontal line.
Change them to the correct layer.
5 Add a .56 fillet. (lower left) cleanup angled
lines (lower right), use trim or fillet
0. Offset Right side line of part .94 and add
.25 R Fillet. Then Extend these 2 lines to the
Center line of the part.
Offset the center line to locate the vertical
position of the .60 and .80 horizontal line.
Change them to the correct layer.
6 Locate Point A by offsetting 3.30 and .80
(locate the intersection of these 2 lines This is
the center point for the 2 radius circle that
will create the arc in the lower portion.
The intersection of the .80 offset and the 3.30
offset is the center point for the .40 radius
arc in the lower portion.
7 From the intersection a Point A draw a 2 radius
circle From the intersection of Point B draw a
.4 radius circle.
8 Use the Trim command to clean up all the arc and
line intersections
9Use the Mirror command to copy the bottom
construction to the top construction. ( Use the
Ortho Function F8)
10Adjust Ltscale to .5 Clean-up center lines,
add title block and plot
