Early Life

• Ms. Nowhera Shaik was born to Shaik Nanne Saheb
  and Shaik Bilkis in 1973. Ms. Shaikh has followed
  her fathers footstep from a very early age by
  supporting him in his business activities even
  during her school days.
• In 1998, Ms. Shaik Nowhera started an Islamic
  School for girls at Tirupati Town in the name of
  Madrasa Niswan (under a society registered with
  the Registration of Societies Act, AP, India, No
  386), with around 150 Students.
• Most of the students were very poor and could not
  even afford to buy books and uniform. She gave
  such poor children free education with lodging
  and boarding facilities.
• In 2008 she started the gold exports and imports
  business under the name of Heera Gold Exports
  and Imports after getting the company registered
  with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, India.
• In a short time, she started many more
  enterprises under the banner of Heera Group of
  Companies Heera Jewellers, Heera Pure drop,
  Heera Textiles, Heera Granites, Heera Rice, Heera
  Electronics, Heera Real Estates, Heera
  Developers, Heera Foodex, and so on.

• Dr. Nowhera Shaik, the founder and CEO of Heera
  Group and National President of All India Mahila
  Empowerment Party, is a business woman with
  vision, integrity and throughout her life she has
  helped and served the poor and needy.
• Dr. Nowhera Shaik besides being a world-renowned
  entrepreneur is a crusader of human rights and
  savior of women, children and even men in
  distress and in need.
• Heera Group, which is a consortium of 2
  educational institutions, and 18 companies
  dealing in diverse fields including, but not
  limited to gold, investment, textile, jewellery,
  mineral water, granite, tours travels, real
  estate, electronics, Hajj Umrah services, etc.
• She is a human rights activist and an Islamic
  scholar. She is also involved in many
  humanitarian and charitable activities.

  is a usual thing, but the real challenge for Ms
  Shaik is to drive her organization in an Islamic
  way and keep it an Interest-Free enterprise.
• She has emerged as a role model for Indian women

AS A PHILANTHROPIST

• Ms. Nowhera Shaik started her business to support
  her charitable activities. Usually, people start
  businesses first and when they are successful
  they start supporting some social and charitable
  causes.
• Her charitable and social activities include
  helping the poor, particularly in the areas of
  education and health, promoting education among
  women, both academic and Islamic, to improve the
  quality of life of the downtrodden Muslims, to
  promote trade and business in an Islamic way and
  to establish business enterprises that can be
  made an instrument for carrying out social
  activities and for supporting charity work.
• She has started a Mobile Clinic under the aegis
  of HEERA GROUP, which provides medical services
  to lakhs of poor villagers across Andhra Pradesh.
  Patients are dispensed medicine at their door
  steps.

Support Helpless Women

• As a President of a reputed Muslim womens
  organisation, At-Tawheed International Dawah
  Centre for Women, Ms. Nowhera has been supporting
  a great number of poor and downtrodden Muslim
  women by engaging in multiple charitable
  activities, such as sponsoring education,
  arranging marriages, health camps, etc.
• Ms. Shaik has started a Women Help Line with a
  web portal providing
• Counselling
• Providing food and shelter
• Providing legal assistance
• Gather information and inform the Govt.
  Agencies/police
• Assist police and other lawful agencies to
  provide services

• All India Mahila Empowerment Party (AIMEP) has
  assured of giving special focus to the welfare
  and safety of women and children.
• However, the successive governments formed by
  various political parties have not fully
  succeeded in ensuring their safety and over-all
  development.
• As a result, this section continued to be
  vulnerable to regressive practices such as
  trafficking in women and children and physical
  abuse.
• Besides the several other measures, the AIMEP
  proposes to establish special courts to ensure
  early disposal of cases related to women and
  children.
