  symbol of eternal love speaks volume of the
  purity, durability and majestic looks in this
  variety of marble, which is quarried from the
  place called Makrana in Rajasthan, the desert
  state which boasts of the worlds largest
  marble-producing area in Rajnagar. Other
  varieties, found in Rajasthjan are called Andhi,
  Salumber, Yellow Marble, Bidasar and Indian Green

  Granite Stone, which has its reserves in Madhya
  Pradesh, Orrisa, Tamil Nadu, Karnatka, Jharkhand,
  Chattisgarh, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh. India
  has varieties of granite in over 200 shades.

• 90 of the countrys Sandstone reserves are in
  Rajasthan apart from Assam, Bihar, U.P., West
  Bengal, and Tamil Nadu. India is one of the
  leading countries in mining and export of best
  quality sandstone in variety of colours and
  shades. Some of very popular varieties of Indian
  Sandstone are Tint Mint, White Mint, Modak, Agra
  Red, Rainbow, Dholpur Pink, etc.

• Indias Slate reserves are found in the states
  of Rajasthan, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and
  Madhya Pradesh. Some of the varieties of Indian
  Slate include Jak Black, Silver Shine, Silver
  Grey, Peacock, Panther, Deoli Green etc.

• The most prominent Limestone occurrences in
  India are found in Kota and Jaisalmer districts
  of Rajasthan, which are known as Kota stone and
  yellow limestone respectively. Some other well
  known varieties are Gulbarga, Kaddapa Stone and
  Milliotic Limestone. Mostly India Limestone
  reserves are in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
