Level of Care
The level of care offered by the Assisted Living
Facilities accommodates the needs of virtually
all residents including their progressive care
needs. At the lower end of care spectrum may be
the residents that simply benefit from the basic
housekeeping, meal preparation and laundry
services provided at assisted living facilities.
Dressing and bathing would come under the next
level of spectrum, while at the upper end of the
spectrum are those with acute memory issues or
serious health problems that require constant
attention.

Personalized Care Plan
At Athulya, we meet with each resident and their
family prior to moving into an assisted living
facility. Based on each residents unique care
needs and preferences, the Clinical team of
Athulya develops an individualized service plan
to provide personalized assistance. Each
residents plan is regularly reviewed for any
necessary adjustments as personal care needs
evolve. Athulyas Comprehensive Care represents

Psychological Dimension This emphasizes an
awareness and acceptance of ones feelings and
encourages a positive outlook in the residents
life. At Athulya, we have daily activities like
cognitive therapy, reminiscence therapy etc to
stimulate the mind and body. These activities
foster a sense of engagement with the environment
including other residents, staff workers and
surrounding community.
Physical Dimension The physical dimension of
comprehensive care covers the health, nutritional
and safety aspects of the seniors. In Athulya,
the health of residents is monitored and
maintained by making systematic, regular
observations about the residents which include
physiological measures like weight, blood
pressure, glucose and other investigations based
on the individual needs. Bimonthly check-ups are
done by the physicians.

Social Dimension It encourages the positive
interactions with others to increase awareness of
ones impact on the community and natural
environment. We recognize the importance of
residents family members and ensure that the
residents communicate with their relatives
through call or Whatsapp, Skype Video call.
Spiritual Dimension It involves seeking meaning
and purpose by developing a deep appreciation for
the depth of life and the natural forces that
exist in the universe. At Athulya, we organize
group pooja, temple visits, reciting slogans,
singing spiritual songs to promote greater
happiness.

particular attention to social and cultural
factors in managing the needs of residents from
different social and cultural backgrounds. At
Athulya, we understand the residents health
beliefs, expectations of care, linguistic
challenges and cultural-based family dynamics to
