What is AFCAT?

• AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test
  and is also referred to as the Indian Air
  Force Exam. AFCAT is a national level
  competitive exam conducted by the Indian Air
  Force (IAF) to select officers for all its
  branches, except for the medical and dental
  branches.

Education Qualification

• Education qualification is based on the branch.
  Here, we have mentioned education qualification
  branch wise.

1. Flying Branch Candidate must have a graduate
in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics at
102 level or B.E/B. Tech with minimum 60
marks. 2. Ground Duty (Technical) Candidates
must have a graduation level degree in any
discipline with Physics and Mathematics at 102
level with minimum 60 marks. 3. Ground Duty
(Non-Technical) Candidates must have graduation
level degree any discipline with minimum 60
marks.

AGE LIMIT

• The required age limit is based on the branch.
  Here, we have mentioned age limit branch wise.

1.Flying Branch Candidate age should be between
20 to 24 years as on 1st January 2019. Candidate
should not be born earlier than 2nd January 1995
and not later than 1st January 1999. 2.Ground
Duty (Technical) Candidate age should be between
20 to 26 years as on 1st January 2019. Candidate
should not be born earlier than 2nd January 1993
and not later than 1st January 1999. 3.Ground
Duty (Non-Technical) Candidate age should be
between 20 to 26 years as on 1st January
2019. The candidate should not be born earlier
than 2nd January 1993 and not later than 1st
January 1999.

  full syllabus before starting preparation.
• General Awareness History, Geography, Sports,
  Civics, Environment, Defense, Basic Sciences,
  Culture, Art, Politics, Current Affairs, etc.
• Verbal Ability in English English
  Comprehension, Vocabulary, Error Finding,
  Synonyms, Antonyms, Fill in the blanks, Jumbled
  Sentences, rearrangement of sentences etc.
• Numerical Ability Number Series,
  Simplification, Average, Ratio Proportion,
  Profit Loss, Simple Interest, Decimal Fraction,
  Percentage etc.
• Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test  Verbal
