  • In addition to these, student who wanted to make
    a career in the insurance industry and preparing
    for an IFIC exam, for those students, CCBST
    offers IFIC course brampton and IFIC mutual funds
    course at Brampton.
  • Students participating in this course will learn
    essential computer, financial and professional
    skills for career opportunities including working
    as a clerk, financial planner, banking
    professional, financial trading and investments.
  • IFIC course prepares students for employment in
    the field of banking and financial services by
    developing your knowledge and skills in financial
    planning, personal banking, investments and
    insurance.
  • The Banking and Financial - CSR program prepares

Upon successful completion of IFIC mutual funds
course student will be able to
  • Provide investment information and service to
    clients, including setting financial goals and
    financial planning
  • Understand the Canadian securities industry and
    regulations
  • Explain how market and economic events impact
    investment performance
  • Review financial literature to identify potential
    investments for clients
  • Use Microsoft applications to create and edit
    reports and other documents
  • Collect financial and investment information
    about companies, stocks, bonds and other
    investments
  • Understand financial instruments such as fixed
    income, equities, managed products, structured
    products, fee based accounts and derivatives
  • Review financial periodicals, stock and bond
    reports, business publications and other material
    to identify potential investments for clients
  • Monitor client's investment portfolios and ensure
    that investment transactions are carried out
    according to regulations
