What is a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan?

(SWPPP) must be put together for all construction
sites to comply with the Construction General
Permit for your state.
For example, in Texas you are required to have
a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan for all
construction projects greater than one acre in
size.  These regulations are per the Texas
Commission of Environmental Qualitys
Construction General Permit TXR150000.  Each
state will have their own version of a
Construction General Permit that will ultimately
comply with the EPAs Section 402 of the Clean
Water Act.
