Steps to troubleshoot unable to stop the
antivirus from scanning

• Turn off software from system tray
• First, you need to go to system tray and from
  there right click on the icon of the tray. If you
  are unable to find the icon the tray, then taps
  on viewing the icons.
• Select exit.
• Wait for some time and let the icon disappear
  from the system tray. Antivirus will be disabled
  and the icon will disappear from the icon tray.
• Now, wait for the next 30 seconds.

Now, enable the antivirus program

• Following is the procedure for enabling the
  antivirus depending upon your operating system
• Windows 10 To upon the antivirus from desktop or
  system tray, double-click on the antivirus icon. 
• Windows 8/8.1 Tap on the icon from the Windows
  start screen.
• Windows 7 To open the main console of an
  antivirus program, do any of the following
• Double click on the antivirus icon on the
  desktop.
• Go to start then go to programs or all programs
  then select the antivirus.
• Now you can scan your system.
