HOW TO BUILD A POLE BUILDING?

Description:

To build a 24 foot by 32-foot pole building, at first, the engineers dig holes with 18 inches wide and 52 inches deep. Then the holes are filled with concrete and the poles are placed over them according to the measurements of the engineers. At first, the four corner poles are placed over the concrete to determine the structure of the building. To assure that the building is square, the engineers measure the diagonal structures of the building. – PowerPoint PPT presentation

To build a 24 foot by 32-foot pole building, at
first, the engineers dig holes with 18 inches
wide and 52 inches deep. Then the holes are
filled with concrete and the poles are placed
over them according to the measurements of the
engineers. At first, the four corner poles are
placed over the concrete to determine the
structure of the building. To assure that the
building is square, the engineers measure the
diagonal structures of the building. Then the
other teams are placed to complete the whole
structure of the building, a comparatively wider
board is placed at the bottom, while the other
boards used are not so wide. The corners of the
building are built with vertical boards also used
in window and door openings. These boards are
placed with pneumatic nails which prevent rusting
or corrosion due to the chemicals of the treated
lumber. The roof of the building is covered with
over 30 blanket insulations and a 1foot overhang
is kept to make the structure of the roof stable.
They are light enough so the engineers are able
to place them with their hands. If the blankets
were heavy, cranes would have been used to place
them. The material used in the roof is an energy
star pre-painted panel. After the panels were
placed, they were fixed with colored screws with
built-in rubber washers. The door is made up of
light steel which swings inward to open. This
pole building has 5 windows, 2 doors, and 1
garage door. After the structure of this pole
building is ready, the engineers get ready to
give the final touches. An aluminum gutter is
placed under the roof to pass the rainwater. A
sewage pipe is placed from the roof to the ground
which hangs from the walls of the pole building.
Engineers now go for the interiors. The inner
walls are covered with the same boards as used in
the outer walls fixed with the same nails. The
floor is covered with concrete and the pole
building is ready within a few hours and less
hard work.
