student at East Carolina University in
Greenville, North Carolina. David Schillo has
maintained an exceptional grade point average.
His effort and determination to excel was
recognized by both the Golden Ky International
Honor Society and the Honor Society for Health
Education.

David Schillos Love of Science
David Schillo is an 8th grade science teacher who
truly loves the subject he teaches. His authentic
passion for science allows him to find new,
innovative ways to help his students understand
the course material. As a result, even the
students who dislike science are more engaged
with classroom activities overall.
