Title: How to Replace a Toner Cartridge in a HP Laser Printer?
1How to Replace a Toner Cartridge in a HP Laser
Printer?
2Usually, HP laser printers run out of ink after a
regular use of the printer. Luckily, you can
replace the ink cartridge of your printing
machine swiftly and correctly sitting at home
only. You have to just follow some basic steps
mentioned below provided by the technicians of
our HP Printer Support Canada.
31. First of all, open the cover of your print
device to see the ink cartridge. Then you have
to take out the drum assembly from your machine
by pulling it upwards. 2. Then carefully take
out the empty ink toner by pressing the lever on
the drum assembly. 3. Now you have to unpack the
new cartridge and take it out of the box but
dont remove the plastic packaging from it, keep
it in that only in order to keep it clean and
safe. 4. Then take out the cartridge from the
packaging by pulling off the sealing tape. While
performing this, dont touch the imaging drum
located on the bottom of the toner. Any scratch
on the drum can cause a problem in printing.
45. Then place the new one inside your printer in
the right place carefully and gently and just
snap it in place securely. 6. Now slide down the
drum cleaning lever back and forth and then
insert the drum assembly utterly and shut the
access port of your printing machine. 7. Now
print a test page. Your laptop/computer will
automatically recognize that a new toner is
inserted into your machine. Many computers will
ask you if you want to print a test page or not,
if yes then click on OK.
