George Freeman is serving as the presiding
chaplain at The Monastery, a Universal Life
Church since May 1977.

George Freeman is committed to the church. He is
always present for everything happening in the
church and knows what needs to be done and
when. The church has often been referred to as
one of the best places to be ordained in the
world. It is receiving a great positive response
from all over the world.

The Universal Life Church Monastery's mantra is
"We are all children of the same universe." It
also has two core tenets Do only that which is
right.

Every individual is free to practice their
religion in the manner of their choosing, as
mandated by the First Amendment, so long as that
expression does not impinge upon the rights or
freedoms of others and is in accordance with the
government's laws.

George Freeman earned the general education from
NYCCC in the year 1964. He worked and earned
degrees simultaneously.
