What do you understand by Hearing Protection
Device?

• It is used for ear protection devices which worn
  in or over the ears.
• It reduces the level of the noise entering to ear
  and also protect against effects of noise
  exposure such as tinnitus and hyperacusis.
• There are several condition like Ototoxicity,
  sensorineural hearing loss which can be treated
  with the help of hearing aids.

Types of Hearing Protection Devices are-

• Earmuffs- are used to fit over the outer ear or
  pinna. It consists of two ear cups and a hear
  band.
• Earplugs- are designed to fit in the ear canal.
  It has four subtypes that are pre-molded
  earplugs,formable earplugs,roll-down foam
  earplugs and custom earplugs.
• Electronic Hearing Protection Devices- is
  available in both earplugs and earmuffs styles.

Devices are-
