The black or flickering issue occurs with UHD
system configuration and mostly due to upgrading
the Intel HD graphics to the newer version. If
you are also facing the same issue, then start
your laptop into Save mode and remove the Intel
Driver from the system.
Follow the steps to do this

• Power on your Dell laptop by pressing the Power
  button for 2-3 seconds.
• When you see the OS loading screen, turn off your
  laptop by pressing the power button.
• Let the automatic repair run on the system and
  when it is finished, select the Advanced Options
  button.
• Move to Troubleshoot option and then click on
  Advanced Options.
• On the next screen, move to Start-up Settings
  button.

• Now, click the Restart button and move to the
  next step.
• Once the system gets restart, you can select the
  Startup Settings you like.
• Click the 4th option i.e. Enable Safe Mode by
  pressing the F4 button on the keyboard.
• Now, make a right-click on the Start and then
  move to Apps and Features option.
• On the new window, scroll down the screen and
  locate Programs and Features link on the right
  hand side.
• Select the option and then search for Intel
  Graphics Driver.
• Choose the entry and select Uninstall.
• Once the process is completed, reboot the system
  normally and install the correct driver from Dell
  official website.
