• Unplug all devices
• Unplug all devices like printer, external hard
  disk if any, or a USB. Dont disconnect the mouse
  and keyboard and reboot your PC.

• If unplugging of devices doesnt help, then safe
  boot enables your Mac to start with the least
  number of drivers required and it inspects your
  hard
• disk as well

• Start your PC while pressing CommandR. The
  process will take you to an inspection mode.

• Choose the Disk Utility action.
• Choose your hard disk, and tick "Verify." Allow
  Disk Utility to complete running.
• If errors display, tick "Repair Disk."
• If nothing else displays, tick "Repair
  Permissions" and allow Disk Utility to examine
  your hard disk.
• If Disk Utility detects and fixes errors, move on
  and restart your computer.
