On November 22, 20 16, Mr. Cedeno sub1nitted a res
ponse in a eparate matter, Co1nplai 11I of Atesa

response, Mr. Cedeno acknowledged that he l1ad
sexual iJ1tercourse with a former client, Ms.
Atesa Pacell after his representat ion of Ms.
Pacelli ended. Ms. Pacell i had previously
filed a civil suit against Mr. Cedeno (Pacelli et
al v. Cedeno et al., l11dex No. 158224/2016 (Sup.
Ct. N.Y. County)), which ha been covered
in the various newspapers. Ms. Pacelli specu
lated in her disciplinary complaint-withou t
any evidence--that Mr. Cedeno may have l1ad
sex "'vith other female clien ts.'' The
attorney, Josl1ua Bauchner, wl10 signed the
complaint in the Pacell i civil action is the
same attorney who now represents Mr. Gironza
co11cern ing Mr. Cedefio's representation of Mr.
Gironza six years

Dear Ms. Melendez We represent Luis Gironza
(''Gironza''), the Complainant, inthe
above-referenced matter. We write in response to
the Answer filed by Peter Cedeno, Esq.
(''Cedeno'') submitted in response to Gironza's
Ethics Complaint.1

Preliminarily, we are compelled to respond
to Cedefl.o's allegation that Gironza's
Ethics Complaint is
somehow related to the civil proceedings filed by
Atesa and Anthony Pacelli against Cedeno for the
unethical sexual relationship he engaged in with
Atesa during the course of his representation of
her. Cedefio's attempts to obfuscate his
unethical conduct notwithstanding, his contention
has no merit. First, Ansell, Grimm Aaron, the
attorneys for Giron za, no longer represents
Atesa Pacelli nor Anthony Pacelli in the civil
matter nor does Ansell, Grimm Aaron A
commitment to excellence. A commitment to people.
