Components Responsible For Bad Ignition of your Car

Description:

If you are facing problems while starting your car, then it might be due to the bad functioning of an ignition switch, alternator, battery, fuel pump or spark plugs. These all components need to function with proper coordination for correct ignition. Title: Components Responsible For Bad Ignition of your Car

1
Components Responsible for Bad Ignition of Your
Car
2
A bad ignition in your car is always detected
while you turn on the key to start the engine.
3
It is quite annoying when the car doesn't start
and mostly the starting problems happen because
of certain predictable components.
4
Here are some of the important components
responsible for bad ignition of your car
- Battery
-Ignition switch
- Alternator
- Fuel pump
- Spark plugs
5
Ignition switch
6
The ignition switch is regularly used as it
consists of both the ignition and the lock
mechanisms for the safety of the car.
7
Eventually, the ignition switch wears out and
you begin to experience trouble while turning the
key to start the car.
8
When you find the dashboard lights are not
illuminated after you turn on the car, then be
sure that the ignition switch is out of order.
9
Alternator
10
The alternator is an essential part of the
charging system of your car after the battery.
11
When the car is running, it is the alternator
that works to generate electricity for the car's
electrical system and also simultaneously charges
the battery.
12
A faulty alternator fails to charge the battery
and there can be ignition problems due to the low
charge.
13
Battery
14
The battery is the primary source of power of the
car which provides the required voltage for the
engine to start.
15
If the battery is dead or not holding enough
charge, then there is no chance of getting the
power supply to start the car.
16
And a faulty battery produces less power than the
requirement of the starter motor leading it to
spin lower and giving rise to starting problems.
17
Fuel pump
18
A fuel pump is responsible for the flow of fuel
from the fuel tank to the fuel injectors.
19
When it is not functioning properly, then due to
the insufficient supply of the fuel results in no
combustion and the engine doesn't ignite.
20
Due to a bad fuel pump, the engine ignites but
struggles to maintain the tuning and you
experience the ignition problems.
21
Spark plugs
22
The spark plugs is an electrical device that
emits a small spark required to ignite the
mixture of air and fuel for the combustion needed
to start the car.
23
It helps in the uninterrupted movement of the
car, good combustion, higher fuel economy,
improved performance, and low emission of gases.
24
The spark plugs are responsible for igniting the
fuel combustion and their malfunctioning leads to
severe ignition problems.
