Roasted Hardwood Flooring
Hurford Roasted Timber is hardwood which has been
exposed to very high temperatures and humidity
within a purpose built kiln. This process
permanently changes the molecular structure of
the timber, creating a more durable, stable and
harder product. The colour of the timber is also
permanently changed, with levels of darkening.
The higher the temperature the timber has been
exposed to, the darker the result. This colour
change penetrates entirely through the timber
plank.
