ABOUT CIVIL SERVICES EXAM IN INDIA
The Civil Services system is the backbone of the
administrative machinery of the country. The
Civil Services Examination in India conducted by
the Union Public Service Commission for to
recruit Civil Services of the Government of
India. In this various types of designation e.g.
Indian Administrative Service(IAS), Indian
Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service(IPS)

UPSC CONDUCTING AUTHORITY
The composition of the Commission is determined
by the President or the Governor in case of the
UPSC and the SPSCs respectively. Provision
regarding the Public Service Commission are
provided in Articles 315 to 323. The members of
the UPSC and the SPSCs are to be appointed by the
President and the Governor respectively.
