requirements and wireframing iterations and
accessed clients current system architecture.
They had an intensive groundwork and were

acceptance of change requirement. - A PHP based website application with intuitive
dashboard view and management along-with an iOS
application with controlled environment for
client side was suggested. - The major functionalities of the PHP based
website application and the controlled
environment of mobile iOS application were - Shifting to AWS Server Existing architecture of
the client had increased page load time which
resulted in website crashing repeatedly. Cygnet
recommended shifting cloud server to Amazon
Simple Storage Service (S3) to ensure that speed
and storage do not remain a concern. All
documents, images, excel sheets etc. were stored
to make server work efficiently, also S3 is very
much secure. - Team Management/ User Management An intuitive
user-friendly module allows clients internal
team admin to create new users/ assign roles and
allow permission to access individual pages. - Customer Management Aimed at giving a birds-eye
view of all customers and related information
on access permissions for each.
Customer profiles are created once their
onboarding is completed via offline
3- verification. Customers download and access the
mobile application only once their entire
onboarding is completed. - Quotation Management Customer can generate new
quotation request / raise requirement from within
the mobile application. Client can share
proposals for the quotes received and customers
can view them via push notifications. Customers
and Client have flexibility to accept/reject any
quote. Upon acceptance a new project is created
and client can assign teams to manage the
delivery. - Project Management Created with the objective to
facilitate transparent communication between the
client and the customer. It enables them to
share key highlights of the projects,
description, project timeline, start date and
currency. This intuitive fluid module enables all
internal teams of our client to add resources to
projects like in-case of FFS (Fee for Service). - Setup Project Team Dashboard to
edit/view/delete/add/update approvals to each
team members. Client can add rates for FTE
teams, minimum deposit amount, threshold amount,
clauses if any which helps generate CDA (Client
Disclosure Agreement). Upon CDA creation, an
automated email with sharing access and
permission controls are shared. - Alerts Management Near real-time alerts of
compounds requests, quotes and supply chain can
be viewed easily. Approvals received, change
requests, route approvals, new compounds added,
store arrivals were few of the information
shared with the client via active alerts. Alerts
are sent via push notifications on mobile and
desktop application. - Executive Summary Assist in easier tracking of
individual compound. - Document Management Different formats of
documents and images like EML/PNG/JPG/Doc/Excel/
PDF were supported. Single secure platform to
maintain a record of all documentation work
related to projects was provided.
Add/Edit/Delete/Update the stakeholders for each
document/image was facilitated. - Chemical Management With the objective to
encourage transparency, each compound details
like their chemical structure, available
quantity, analytical specification etc. could be
shared with the customers on single dashboard.
Customers could also view the entire order
management dashboard and view the status of their
orders. Client could assign price to each
chemical in the compound, set budget, view
month-wise dashboard and assign dedicated
resources for various projects. Automated
quotation request/review/approval and project
creation could be managed through via the mobile
application. Raising purchase request for
compound and new compound was facilitated via the
desktop and mobile application. - Experimental Approvals This exclusive module
documents all the multiple experiments carried in
pursuit of creating a single compound. The
results of these experiments are documented and
uploaded to be shared with client for review/
approval through this module. - Comments Section Facilitated swifter internal
communication among stakeholders to
review/check/address concerns for multiple
queries which earlier required to be sent across
via trailing emails. - Store Management Up-to-date status of all the
Chemicals and compounds arriving in to the
inventory was maintained via Store management.
Purchase requests could be mapped and responded
easily with help of updated store management.
Available compounds could be purchased easily
from the store whereas depleted quantities were
replenished on need basis. - Invoice Management Invoices could be raised
timely via automated emails, based on the project
type, FTE/FSS, compounds involved, timeline etc.
4- Accurate Reporting One-stop destination for all
stakeholders which displayed projects action
items, deliverables, adherence to timelines,
invoices raised, accounts receivable etc. These
statistical reports further helped in better
forecasting and taking critical business
