Storage Space with Controlled Environment

• Temperature -

  of food and green vegetables. It is being kept at
  -25 degree Celsius to keep the edibles frozen to
  be used in future.
• Humidity -
• Humidity sensors are being used to control the
  humidity. It is also a very important factor
  which helps in the decaying process of food as
  early as possible which is not favorable.
  Therefore it is also being controlled for keeping
  the edibles fresh for a long period of time.

• These types of storage spaces required basically

  who deliver food online either without any
  service charges or with a minimal service charge
  depending on the amount of the purchase or order.

Processes of Cold supply chain logistics

• Three major elements - A personnel to maintain
  the materials and equipment, materials for secure
  storage and products transportation, and
  processes for program management, safe
  distribution, and usage of the products.
• Production phase - This phase manages the storage
  of products in cold storage where the products
  are arranged in different segments. The storage
  is dependent on the quantity of the product,
  duration to store the product and the temperature
  required. The widely used cold storages are
  icepack freezers, cold rooms, and others.
• Consumer phase - This is the phase where
  transportation is done, and the transportation
  vehicles are maintained with the temperature that
  prevents any damage to the product. The
  transportation vehicles reach wholesalers,
  supermarkets, retails shops and finally
  consumers.
