  • A mousse is a prepared food that incorporates air
    bubbles to give it a light and airy texture.
  • It can range from light and fluffy to creamy and
    thick, depending on preparation techniques.
  • A mousse may be sweet or savoury.
  • Dessert mousses are typically made with whipped
    egg whites or whipped cream, and generally
    flavoured with chocolate or puréed fruit.

1 Melt Dark Chocolate 150 Gm
2 Butter 56 Gm
3 Egg Yolk 1 No
4 Sugar 20 Gm
5 Egg White 1 Gm
6 Sugar 16 Gm
7 Whipped Cream 120 Gm
8 Gelatine 05 Gm
9 Water 20 Ml

  • Method
  • Dissolve the gelatine and keep aside.
  • Melt chocolate and add butter stir till butter
    melts completely.
  • Add egg yolks mix well.
  • Add dissolved gelatine mix well.
  • Fold whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
  • Beat the egg whites and sugar well till soft peak
    and fold into the chocolate mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into molds set in the
    refrigerator for about at least 3 hours.
