Joel Iwataki is a hardworking individual and it
is evident from the fact that he used to build
boats at the age of 19 before becoming a music
composer. He used to steer his boat to run a
small clam cannery in the Prince William Sound.
He returned to California upon realizing his
interest in music. Later on, he studied music and
became a principal voice recording engineer.

Joel Iwataki returned to California and got
enrolled in the Grove School in Los Angeles to
learn music in detail. He is known for practicing
composition and orchestration with film
composers ìAlbert Harris and Richard Markowitz.

Joel Iwataki is known for his exceptionally
remarkable transformations. He kept on unveiling
his interests and pursued his interests. After
becoming a voice engineer, he pursued his
interest of becoming a music composer and then
turned in to a mixer. His excellence in every
role in beyond explanation.

Joel Iwataki has learned many techniques while
working with leading composers and he also
composed record-breaking successful records.

for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing for
(2017), SPIDERMAN HOMECOMING (2017) and
ANNABELLE CREATION (2017).
