5 Potty Training Tips for Toddlers
  • When your little one is ready to try potty
training for the first time, you can prepare your
kid by teaching them the process which will be
valuable for the rest of his/her life. Here are
five tips to kick start potty training for your
    toddler
  • Watch and Learn
  • Kids mimic adults. They learn what they see in
their daily lives. Watching the parent use
bathroom can teach him how daddy uses the
bathroom differently than the mother. This can
establish the basis of how boys and girls use the
    bathroom differently.
  • Choosing the Right Equipment
  • It's highly recommended to start with a child
size or adapter potty seat rather than letting
them use adult size toilets. They can be risky at
times, as children are quite smaller in size.
Starting with a kid-sized potty will help the kid
to gain confidence on the equipment first.

5 Potty Training Tips for Toddlers
  • Vocabulary
  • Using words to express different acts, for
example. "Pee," "poop" and "potty." Asking your
kid how he/she feels can familiarize them with
    the process.
  • Position Matters
  • It's good to make kids aware of posture and
position during potty training. While your
posture directly impacts your vertebral column,
it's essential to sit back straight.
  • Good habits
  • Importance of flushing after use, aiming inside
the bowl, not creating extra splashes and
switching off the lights in the bathroom after
usage, are some good habits which when instilled
in younger ages can be fruitful and beneficial in
    adult age.
