Feige Asia provides training services to staff
that are required to operate or maintain
equipment. These training services can be
conducted either in Feiges training centers or
at the clients premises. This flexibility allows
Feige to demonstrate on the actual equipment that
is located at the clients premises.

All staff that under went Feiges training
regularly will become adept at operating and
maintaining the equipment. This improves not only
the efficiency and performance of the equipment,
but also extending its lifespan as well.

Thus, having regular training is a must for all
staff such that the equipment can be maintained
to work at its tip-top condition all the time.
This is even more important for all new users of
the equipment such that the equipment will not be
misused and cause a degradation of performance.

The training is organized as either a one day or
two days session. For the one day training
session, it starts off with an explanation on how
the equipment works and performs. Next, the
trainees are instructed on scale function and
parameterization.

After that, the trainees are taught how to
identify a fault in the equipment as well as to
perform fault simulation. Production assistance
is also provided. For the two days training
session, there are both theory training and
practical training on the first day.

On the second day, it reinforces more on the
theory concepts with the practical training
exercises that are performed on the first day.
The first day theory training covers filling
lance and filling valve, opening cylinder,
lifting units, bunghole exhaust device / drip
collecting device, and scale.

The first day practical training covers pneumatic
regulation at the assembly group automatic drum
filler and regulation of a pneumatic cylinder
bunghole exhaust device. The second day theory
training covers automatic drum filler, pneumatics
and functional descriptions.

For automatic drum fillers, the workings of the
drum lift conveyor, bunghole location /debugging
/ turning station, bunging / sealing closing
station are explained. For pneumatics, the
various function of the pneumatic components as
well as the structure of circuit diagram and
parts list are explained.

For functional descriptions, the control of the
upward movement of the filling lance for
below-surface filling mode is explained. Feige
provides all its trainees with extensive training
documents that the trainees can keep and
reference to when they need to operate the
equipment.

It also acts as a fall-back whenever they
encounter any problems or issues with the
equipment any time after the training. All
training sessions are conducted by qualified
trainers who are well versed in the theories as
well as possess good working knowledge of the
equipment.

These trainers are usually experienced service
technicians who are always handling the equipment
all the time during their many years of career.
