Do's
during an FDNS site visit
Make your employees aware that a site visit can
happen at any time and with or without prior
intimation. When a site visit occurs, you can
request the name and identity of the officer,
who is handling the visit. Keep all the
supporting documents ready, so that they are
easily accessible. Even if the site visits are
voluntary, it is suggested that the employer/
employee takes part in the visit and answer the
questions. Provide only accurate information.
A company representative should accompany the
FDNS officer as long as he/she is on
site. Take notes of all the information and
documents provided to the officer.

Don'ts
during an FDNS site visit
First and the foremost. Dont Panic! Dont
refuse to meet the officer. Remember that an FDNS
site visit to your organization/employer site
doesnt mean that you are at fault. Dont give
any conflicting answers, such as inflating your
roles and responsibilities. Never provide any
inaccurate information to the officer.
Dont oppose if the officer intends on speaking
to your co-worker/reporting authority.
