continuously for 5-7 minutes. It can also help in

4- Uttanasana (Stand forward bend pose)
- This yoga asana for hair growth helps better hair
growth. To do this asana, stand straight with
your feet together. Take a deep breath and spread
your arms high up as you slowly exhale, bend
forward and try to touch the floor or toe with
your palms. Hold on this position with some
normal breathing. This asana helps in distressing
and relieves all the anxiety and tension, which
are the reasons of hair fall. It also allows
blood circulation properly to the scalp which
helps in improving hair growth. - Sasangasana (Rabbit pose)
- While performing the Sasangasana, you need to
touch the crown your head to the ground, the
blood flows to the head. Proper circulation of

growth. Sit with your knees on the floor, hips on
your heels in Balasana pose (child pose). Now put
both your hand, on the back and hold your heels.
Place the crown of your head on the floor and
slowly inhale and lift up your hips. Hold this
position until five breaths.
5- Kapalbhati Pranayam
- Kapalbhati is the most common pranayama or a type
of deep breathing exercise. The term kaphalabatti
comes from kaphala and batti which implies skull
and shine. It is a respiratory exercising which
will help in inhaling great sum of oxygen by
which oxygen is presented to the hair follicles
for hair development. This pranayama also helps
in strengthening mind and nerve centres. - Sit in padmasana or sukhasana, keep your back and
neck straight and eyes closed. Place your hands
on your knees in gyan mudra. Exhale forcefully
through both nostrils, simultaneously pulling
your stomach in. Dont make an effort to inhale.
This asana can be done 60 times in a minute. It
also fights with the problem of blood circulation
in the whole body and helps in hair growth. - Anulom Vilom Pranayam
- Sit in padmasana or sukhasana. Close the right
nostril with the right hand thumb, gently inhale
through the left nostril. After complete
inhalation, close the left nostril with the ring
finger and middle finger of the right hand and
exhale completely through the right nostril. The
rate of inhalation-exhalation should gradually be
increased from medium to vigorous. Do this with
focus and concentration for about 5 minutes. This
asana helps in improving the functioning of the
lungs and to cure depression and tension which is
the reason of hair fall.

healthy, balanced diet in your daily routine. Eat
plenty of green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits,
sprouts, cereals, pulses and dairy products which
