• Lets discuss frequently asked questions about
  eyebrow threading

• What is threading?
• Threading is the technique of removing hair with
  a single thread. The thread is twisted in a way
  to create a cross section that rolls over hairs,
  catches them and pulls them out.
• I have thin skin/am on acne medication/use
  steroid creams. Is threading safe for my face?
• Yes, most clients switch over to threading as it
  is Dermatologist approved for sensitive skin. It
  simply pulls hair and only hair off the face. No
  layers of skin are removed during this process.
• Are there any reactions to threading?
• No. There is mild redness that disappears a few
  minutes after each session.

• Why choose threading over waxing?
• Threading lifts the follicle as it pulls out
  hair, inadvertently weakening the follicle.
  Threading is more precise than waxing threading
  allows the artist to discriminate between each
  hair that is removed. This is not possible with
  waxing as its difficult to control the wax as it
  spreads. Threading is also completely natural and
  no heat is used. Waxing can remove up to 3 layers
  of skin, cause burning and irritation.
• How often do I have to get threading done?
• Most clients come back to every 2-4weeks. It is
  solely dependent on the hair growth cycle and
  hormonal phases of each client. For consistently
  fresh brows, we recommend coming in every 2 weeks
  for average hair growth cycles.
• Can I thread more than just my brows?
• Yes, we thread all areas of the face and neck. We
  also offer arm threading.

• Is threading painful?
• Depends on your pain tolerance. Some clients
  enjoy it, find it relaxing or ticklish. Others
  find it painful as with any hair removal. We aim
  to make you as comfortable as possible during the
  process to help reduce pain.
• Is there a possibility of cross-contamination?
• No. The strand of thread used during each session
  is discarded immediately after the session. All
  implements used, such as brow brush and scissors
  are sterilized. The thread is placed in a clean
  covered area.
• I have sensitive skin, am I a candidate?
• Yes, sensitive clients are the ideal candidate as
  there is no other hair removal technique safe for
  their skin besides tweezing. Threading is great
  for Retin-A users, diabetics and cancer patients.
• Are threading artists licensed?
• Yes, all our threaders are certified and/or
  licensed to perform the service.
