• Air conditioners are high wattage appliances.
• A single 2-ton air conditioner consumes
  approximately 3 kVA of power.
• One must know that the starting wattage of an AC
  is quite high this is because when the compressor
  of the air conditioner is running it needs high
  current.
• Since the AC will be operational for a long
  stretch of the time its operating wattage will be
  high as well.
• Considering all of this, the power consumed by
  two 2-ton air conditioners would be approximately
  6-8 kVA.

• Hence, a single phase 10 kVA generator should
  suffice the power needs.
• I use 10 kVA TMTL diesel generator at my shop
  and I would recommend TMTL because of its
  economical and efficient performance.

  for small businesses like mine.
