Using a jet washer should do the job when it
comes to cleaning garden decking designs but we
need to make sure that it should not be a heavy
duty one. A smaller one with 1500 psi should do
the job just fine. Anything more powerful than
that and there is a chance that it can damage the
wood fibres making it very difficult to clean.
Citric acid can also be used as it is
non-hazardous but it will help brighten up the
timbers.

How to protect decking
As wood is used it will certainly fill with dirt
and dust which will alter the brightness, colur
and appearance of the decking. The best way to
protect is by using a deckin oil, which when
applied in liquid form solidifies later on,
filing the empty pores. You will surely notice
the change in look and your deck will be ready
for the summer.
