While the audience clapped and enjoyed the
performances of students, as Prabhuji walked up
the stage, a silence fell over and yes it was
time for him to speak. The next 60 minutes flew
by and one couldn't even spot a stir in an
audience of more than 2000 people sitting
together and listening to him. He began his
enlightening discourse, by highlighting some
vital statistics that gave the audience a
perspective into the current scenario of
education across the globe. He emphasised the
fact that students as well as parents should
realise that the luxury of completing education
in one go is not a reality for all. Therefore,
we should all feel grateful to the Almighty and
our parents for giving us the gift of education.

Later he made an effort to make the parents
understand that education is not only about
gaining knowledge but working towards mental and
physical well-being, as these both are important
components of evolving as an individual. He
raised the issue of mental health and apprised
the parents about the rapid increase in cases of
depression,suicidal tendencies amongst the youth
of the nation. " Challenge is what makes life
interesting but overcoming challenges makes life
meaningful". During his address, he also
expressed his concern over how modern education
system is geared towards only gaining excellence
through marks but not working towards the
ultimate goal of inner peace and
happiness. People are worried about the output of
a machine but fail to understand or even ask what
is happening to the man behind the machine.
