Symptoms Of Hyperhidrosis
Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition which is not
life threatening but indeed cause embarrassment.
In this, a person sweats more than normal
especially in areas like armpits, palm, feet and
face.

This may even lead to psychological trauma and in
some cases people even experience suicidal
thoughts.
This is also known as polyhidrosis or sudorrhea
and patients with this condition often avoid
social gatherings.
If accompanied by lightheadedness, chest pain or
nausea, a patient should contact doctors
immediately.

Different Types Of Hyperhidrosis
Focal Hyperhidrosis When the excessive sweating
is localized. For example, palmoplantar
hyperhidrosis which affects palms and soles.
Primary Idiopathic Hyperhidrosis "Idiopathic"
means "of unknown cause." In this case the exact
cause is unknown.
Generalized Hyperhidrosis In this excessive
sweating affects the entire body.
Secondary Hyperhidrosis In this, the person
sweats too much because of an underlying health
condition.

    contains glycopyrrolate that treats hyperhidrosis
    that affects the face and head.
  • Nerve-Blocking Medications Some oral medications
    block the chemicals that allow certain nerves to
    communicate with each other.
  • Antidepressants Some medications used for
    depression can also reduce sweating.
  • Botox Injections Treatment with botulinum toxin
    temporarily blocks the nerves that cause sweating.
