About Us

• The web-based service team Accountability
  Solutions (Pty) Ltd. assists large corporates,
  start-up businesses and SMEs with credit
  management and debt management.
• Their goal is to protect members from the risks
  of outstanding payments.
• Their members, have access to default management,
  debt collection services, judgement removal
  services etc.
• Accountability Solutions (Pty) Ltd is a Cape Town
  based company. It was established by Howard and
  Wendy Kemp.

• Membership Benefits
• Intra-member networking All our members are
  available to help other members to promote their
  businesses. All members have the opportunity of
  receiving help from others for marketing.
• Downloads and advice Our members have access to
  various legal documents like acknowledgement of
  debt, credit application forms and deeds of
  suretyship. We also provide members practical
  help regarding legal issues.
• Accountability stickers We offer Accountability
  stickers and digital stickers to attach to the
  invoices or statements. Our graphics and logo
  help members to recover from mitigating risks and
  unprescribed debts.
• Accountability security alert We alert our
  members about the scams circulating recently and
  highlight habitual debtors.

• Credit Management
• Business information reports We reduce the risk
  of our members by taking on new business clients,
  suppliers or partners by providing detailed
  information about them.
• Consumer information reports Our members have
  access to current, comprehensive information that
  is not easy to reach, including missing debtors.
  Our ID verification database confirms the
  validity of an ID number and associated name. If
  you fail to locate an individual, you can place a
  trace alert and we will notify you immediately
  when we get new contact information.
• Industry flagging - default listing We have a
  detailed summary of all the businesses that we
  have listed and updated on the national database.
• Bank codes A bank code establishes the financial
  position of an entity. It is provided within 24
  hours from the date of issue.

• Deed Searches
• We provide our members with the full information
  about all properties in South Africa belonging to
  an individual, company or trust. It includes the
  personal details about the property owner,
  information about the property, the municipal
  valuation of the property, bond and transfer
  information, comparative sales, area maps, suburb
  trends and amenities.

Our Services

• 4-in-1 Credit Fitness Report
• All your credit information retained by the four
  major South African based credit bureaus are
  included in the 4-in-1 credit fitness report. The
  four major credit bureaus are TransUnion, XDS,
  Experian, and Compuscan. It will offer you an
  extensive overview of your personal credit
  profile. We offer this report to our members free
  of charge.

• Default Management
• Notice to debtor (Form-A) According to
  Regulation 19(4), these notices are to be sent to
  debtors before a listing takes place. Our members
  can list a debtor on the databases of the credit
  bureaus which will cause the debtor to lose
  credit worthiness. It assures a 98 response rate
  from debtors to our members' initial notice.
• Add to database form (Form-B) If the debtor does
  not respond and our team lists him on the
  database of the credit bureaus, then he is sent a
  second letter instructing to pay our member in
  full.
• Update database form (Form-C) After the debtor
  pays our member after listing and the member
  informs us, we update the listing.

• Access to Collection Services
• Debt collection facilitation Listing a debtor is
  not always an option because sometimes members
  realise that a debtor is unable to pay back and
  he is too valuable to lose. We arrange favourable
  payment terms and enter into strategic
  partnerships with registered debt collectors to
  collect as much of the outstanding amount as
  possible from a debtor. As a result, no legal
  action is taken during this service.
• Engage legal collections Litigation processes
  are time consuming and expensive. So, we advise
  our members to engage attorneys only after the
  listing of debtors. We recommend several
  independent legal firms identified by us that can
  assist our members when litigation is necessary.

• Judgement Removal Request
• Our members are allowed to instruct affiliated
  attorneys BLV to start the process of judgement
  removal or consumers or commercial entities.
  There are seven ways to approach this process.
  BLV evaluates each case to determine the way of
  process required to properly remove the judgement
  via the court system. Then a quotation against
  the exact process is forwarded to the person via
  mail.
