Role of discipline in a childs development
  • Proper discipline leads to self- motivation,
    self-control and emotional stability
  • Disciplined citizens are the need of every
nation. That is why teaching discipline is
crucial in a childs development. In fact, it is
more significant than the academic grades of the
child. It isnt necessary that high grades
promise a better life for a child but discipline
either directly or indirectly leads to a
successful life with minimal chances of failures.
  • Here are some ways discipline is important for a
    childs development

4
Discipline teaches how to make good choices
  • In todays time, children easily get attracted
towards the wrong path. So, discipline is
necessary to direct the students. If schools
create an environment that teaches discipline to
the children, then the students will always
choose the right path. A disciplined environment
can make the student a better person and help to
    make a well-informed decision.

5
Discipline teaches to manage emotions
  • When a child is brought up in such a way that he
knows how to react to different situations, then
he/she becomes emotionally stronger. In schools,
its the duty of the teachers as well as the
administration to make the students understand
how to control their emotions such as anger,
hatred, frustration, etc and never harm anyone
    from their actions.

6
It facilitates a strong bond with family and
friends
  • Disciplined children know how to respect others.
This creates a strong bond between the child and
his/her friends, relatives and family members. A
disciplined child always takes care of his/her
actions and considers the consequences of every
    action.

7
It helps to achieve life goals by ignoring
distractions
  • Discipline instills self-control in the children.
So, they know how to perform their work without
getting distracted from any obstacles in their
    path.

8
It helps in getting appreciation in the society
  • A disciplined individual gets respects from
others. A well mannered and well-dressed person
with a full positive attitude is respected by
    all.
