3What is new in NATA 2019
- Change in Exam Pattern - The Drawing test of NATA
2019 will now be of 120 minutes, while Aptitude
test has been reduced to 60 minutes. Earlier both
parts were of 90 minutes. - Eligibility Criteria - Chemistry and Physics,
along with Mathematics, have been made compulsory
subjects. The aggregate minimum marks in the
three subjects is 50.

5Plan study
- The initial stage to crack NATA exam. Clear your
easy and light topic chapters. You can allot few
hours to few days to complete. There are alot of
topics that cant be dealt with easily and
sometimes you underestimates your own ability,
thats why more time is required. - Therefore it is really very necessary to have a
balanced view of your ability, knowledge and
understanding of difficulty level of the exam,
and how much time will it take to cover the
entire syllabus. - Do not make rigid plan. Make it flexible, so you
can make necessary changes according to the time
and situations.
6familiar with the exam pattern
- The Council of Architecture has made some changes
to the exam pattern of NATA in 2019. - Part A which comprises Mathematics and Aptitude
subjects will now be of 60 minutes duration,
whereas Part B will be of 120 minutes. So, you
will have more time to answer questions in the
drawing test.
7Choose book wisely
- Before picking a book, consider to ask your
mentors. They will help you. Your book language
should be easy, and not diluting ideas, concept.
Rather, it should explain the matters, topics in
details.

8Optimize time
- Be smart. Do not practice topics that carry
little or no weightage. Devote less time for less
important topics, and skip the irrelevant
content. Do not solve same problems over and
again. Save time to solve specific set of
problems.

your study plan. Make notes while you study, this
will help you to revise the topics in the last
few days.

- Architecture, probably more than any engineering
discipline, requires you to have an imaginative

the candidate on a number of parameters like
drawing, imagination, and observation skills. Go
through previous years question papers, figure
out what kind of imaginative prowess is expected
of you.
