2. Tim Tam Tim Tam may not be a traditional
dessert, but this much-loved treat has become a
part of the Australian culture. For those who
have never had it before, Tim Tam is
chocolate-malted biscuits with a layer of light
chocolate filling in the middle and coated with
melted chocolate. At the present day, you can
find many other different flavors, including
vanilla, salted caramel and red velvet. For the
record, Australian Tim Tam is slightly different
from Malaysias version!

3. Iced Vivo   Made by the same company that
produced Tim Tam, Iced Vivo is another local
treat loved by Australians since 1906. Iced Vivo
is a wheat flour biscuit topped with pink icing
and a strip of raspberry jam and sprinkled with
desiccated coconut. Its unfortunately not
available in Malaysia so you must travel to
Australia to try some! This sweet treat is a
perfect companion for afternoon tea and parties.

4. Pavlov Pavlov a is a beloved dessert in
Malaysia, but not many people know that it
actually originated from Australia (or New
Zealand, its still up for debate). This dessert
was named after the Russian ballerina, Anna
Pavlov who toured both countries 1926.The
cake-shaped meringue is topped with cream and
fresh fruits and comes in various sizes. If you
love Pavlov, you definitely should book a tour to
Australia and taste the original
5. Anzac biscuit Anzac biscuit has long been
associated with Australian and New Zealand Army
Corps (shortened as ANZAC) since World War 1,
since these biscuits, can last long and keep well
during the long journey to the battlefield.
