About CTC Global

• CTC Global was founded to improve the efficiency,
  capability, reliability and resiliency of the
  electric power grid.
• CTC global began development of high capacity,
  low sag ACCC conductors in early 2003. In
  addition to producing the CTC Global ACCC
  conductors hybrid carbon and glass fiber ACCC
  core, CTC Global also produces a number of
  components used in various connectors such as
  dead-ends and splices.
• The ACCC conductors hybrid composite
  core produced by CTC Global reduces thermal sag
  that limits the current carrying capacity of
  other conductor types.

Learn about ACCC Composite Core

• The ACCC Composite Core conductor is made up of
  high carbon and glass fibers embedded in a
  toughened thermoset epoxy resin matrix. 
• The composite core is manufactured using a
  continuous pultrusion process by highly skilled
  pultrusion experts.

Offerings by ACCC Composite Core

• The ACCC Composite Core offers a strength to
  weight ratio approximately six times better than
  steel.
• Coefficient of thermal expansion about ten times
  lower. 
• It is impervious to corrosion and cyclic load
  fatigue.

• ACCC Composite Core are currently available in
• 310 ksi tensile strength
• 375 ksi tensile strength
• Higher strength version - ULS

ULS offerings

• ULS id basically the higher strength version of
  ACCC Composite core.
• It offers higher modulus to accommodate longer
  spans and extreme ice loads.
