1. Adjustable
It uses grooves and horizontal beams that can
be modified or adjusted to extend its reach. It
also has casters and wheels for easy transport.

It has two horizontal beams which support the
hoist in between. With this, it can lift off
heavy objects at greater heights.

It is usually used in wide, open areas in which
it has two cantilevers to prevent its legs from
getting easily broken.

This type of gantry crane is most commonly used
in construction areas that rarely requires
lifting of heavy materials.
5. Single Girder
This type of gantry is also called a semi-portal
crane in Singapore because it is typically used
only in warehouses or manufacturing units.
6. Rail Neptune
This type of gantry crane is usually used in
steelyards and shipyards.
