Essay Tips 7 Tips for Writing an Essay
  • 1. Choose a theme for the Essay
  • You may be assigned a subject, or you may be
given independent rule to write on the subject of
your choice. If you have given a topic, you
should think about the type of paper you want to
produce. With the type of should it be a general
overview or a specific analysis of the issue?
Focus your attention if necessary. If you have
not assigned an item, you have a little more work
to do. However, this opportunity also gives you
the benefit of choosing a topic that is
    interesting or relevant to you.
  • First, define your purpose. To inform or persuade
your essay? Once you have set the objective, you
will need to do some research on topics that seem
complicated to you. Think about your life. What
makes you feel? Write down these topics.
Finally, evaluate your options. If your goal is
to educate, choose the subject you've already
studied. If our goal is to agree, select a topic
you're passionate about. Whatever the mission of
the essay, make sure you are interested in your
    subject.

2. Prepare outlines or pictures of your Ideas
  • To write a successful essay, you need to organize
your thoughts. Which is already in your head and
put it on paper, you can see the connection and
link between the ideas more clearly. This
structure acts as a basis for your Essay. Use
either a framework or diagram to bring down your
thoughts and organize them. To create a picture,
type your subject in the middle of your page.
Remove three to five lines from this topic and
type your main ideas at the end of these lines.
Draw more lines from these main ideas and include
the ideas you can add in these ideas. If you
prefer to create a framework, type your subject
at the top of the page. From there, start listing
your main ideas, leaving the space under each
one. In this location, be sure to list other
small ideas that relate to each of the main
ideas. Doing so will help you see the connection
and will also help you write more organized
    essays.

6
3. Write your Research Statement
  • Now that you have selected a subject and sorted
your ideas into relevant categories, you need to
create a statement. Your statement tells the
reader about your essay. See your outline or
picture. What are the main ideas? Your research
statement will have two parts. The first part
tells the subject, and the second part speaks of
the essay. For example - Statement "Winning
Characters" This is one for the scholarship
essay "During my high school career, I have
    developed several activities, including
    communication skills, leadership skills, and
    organization skills. Winning Characters
Displayed, through your participation in student
governance. Part-time jobs at the National Honor
    Society, and Messi's department store."

7
4. Write the Body of the Essay
  • The body of your essay argues describes or
describes your subject. Each of the main ideas
that you wrote in your diagram or outline will
become a separate section within the body of your
essay. Each body paragraph will have the same
basic structure. Start writing one of your main
    ideas as an introductory sentence.

5. Write an Introduction for the Essay
After developing the overall body of your essay,
you have to write an introduction. The
introduction should attract the readers'
attention and show the focus of his Essay. Start
with the drawer. You can access stunning
information, dialogue, a story, a quote, or a
simple summary of your topic. Whatever angle you
choose, make sure it deals with your thesis
statement, which you can include as the last
sentence of your introduction.
8
6. Write the Conclusions
  • The conclusion closes the topic and presents your
overall views while giving a final look at your
subject and the Essay. Your judgment should
include three to five stiff sentences, which can
make your point clear. Just review your main
    points and reinforce your Essay.

7. Add the finishing touch
After writing the conclusion for the essay, you
may think that you have completed your essay.
Well, you are right but not completely right.
Because, before you consider to finish it, you
should pay attention to all the small details
regarding the Essay. Check the order of your
paragraphs. Your strongest point should be the
first and last paragraphs within the body, with
others falling in. Make sure your paragraph
order makes sense. If your essay is describing a
process, such as how to make a great chocolate
cake, then make sure your paragraphs come in the
correct order.
9
  • If applicable, Review the instructions in your
essay. Many teachers and scholarship forms follow
different formats, and you should double-check
the instructions to ensure that your essay is as
per your need. Finally, review what you have
written. Re-read your paper and see if it makes
sense. Add phrases to help make sure the sentence
flow is smooth and add ideas more and more ideas.
Check your essay for grammar and spelling
mistakes. And thats it, congrats you have
    written an Excellent Essay.
