Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran was
established in the year 2001. Since then, it has
gained experience, expertise, and fame across the
country. When college started, it had Engineering
as its flagship department. Today, it stands
strong with seven different departments
Engineering, Biotechnology, Management, Pharmacy,
Computer Application, Hospitality, and Education.
About thirty degree and diploma programs are
offered by the college.

Apart from the theoretical tutelage, the college
has kept practical knowledge in the focus as
well. With the consortium of theory and practice,
the students are made ready for appearing the
placement drives. In this way, students overall
abilities are honed up. Perhaps that is the
reason behind CGC, Landran receiving numerous
placements offers every year.

At Chandigarh Group Of Colleges Landran, About
6314 placement offers have been received to date
where the highest package is about 31.77 LPA. The
college also has tie-ups with 30 eminent
organizations around the world to provide
industrial training.

Apart from the foretold, Chandigarh Group Of
Colleges Landran is also well-furnished. It has
also embraced ultra-modern infrastructure where
labs and classrooms are well-maintained. Proper
maintenance has assisted college labs to be
recognized as SIRO by Department of Science
Technology. The colleges engineering department,
as well as other departments, have taken care of
research and development. More than two hundred
patents are filed by students and teachers of
CGC.
