• In most cases, saree is the preferred choice for
  brides across India. However, in Punjab and most
  places in North India, the traditional attire for
  weddings is a salwar kameez. Of course we arent
  speaking of the simple salwar kameez that women
  across India wear were referring to
  special bridal salwar suit which are both
  exquisite and elegant. Also, some brides prefer
  the salwar kameez over the saree because one, it
  is much more comfortable two, it is easier to
  carry off three, a saree can restrict your
  movements and can be heavy if youre wearing it
  throughout the ceremony. But there are different
  kinds of trends as far as bridal salwar kameez
  are concerned. Lets take a look at some of them
• These come with a kurta or a kameez that is knee
  length and a salwar that is loose and baggy with
  a number of pleats. These are usually called
  patialas. These bridal suits with heavy dupattas
  usually come in traditional colors of gold and
  red. However, young brides nowadays tend to
  experiment with color combinations as well. Most
  of these suits are embroidered or even come with
  dazzling designs made with stones or sequins.
  Pair that up with some custom made traditional
  jewelry, and youre good to go.
