    the reign of Kumaragupta - I from Gupta Empire,
    somewhere between 415 AD and 455 AD. This gold
    dinar weighs around 7 to 8 grams.
  • The obverse side depicts a king holding ankush,
    seated on an elephant, attendant sitting behind
    holding a chattra on his head. The reverse side
    depicts a Goddess standing on a lotus, holding
    the stalk of a lotus in left hand and a lotus
    flower in her right hand.
