disorder, even if you're not sure, see a GP as
soon as you can. They'll ask you questions about
your eating habits and how you're feeling, and
will check your overall health and weight. If
they think you may have an eating disorder, they
should refer you to an eating disorder doctors or
team of specialists.
6Treatment For Eating Disorders
- You can easily recover from an eating disorder,
but it may take time and recovery will be
different for everyone. After being referred to
an eating disorder clinic or team of specialists,
they'll be responsible for your care. - They should mainly talk to you about any other
support you might need, such as for other mental
or physical health conditions you have, and
include this in your treatment plan.
