Lorina Barbe A teacher by education, she became

Leon Bonnelam He began his career as a police

Georgette Larue-Jumaye She was distinguished by

Peter Pierre-Louis Born in Kenya and worked at
the Creative Arts Center in Nairobi. Upon arrival
in the Seychelles, he worked in the Department of
Culture. He wrote novels and poems, the first
book was published in 1985.

Vel June Vel June was remembered as the author
of the 1989 Eva novel. She left Seychelles for
Canada and continued to publish poems and novels
there. In 2001, she released her latest work Mon
arc en ciel a moi in the United States. Died in
2012 in Canada.

Claude Renaud Born in 1971, received the
profession of a doctor. He discovered a love of
writing when he joined the National Youth Service
(NYS), a boarding school for teens. There he
became the editor of the magazine. From 1987 to
1991 he released 4 novels and a book of poems.
