Singapore institutions arises. Before you apply
for any University or Private Institutions abroad
it is very important to have a right mindset. The
preparations for applications must begin much
before in hand. International students, are
subject to more stringent admission criteria,
admitted over and above the places set aside for
Singaporeans and are subject to a cap.

Few basic steps you need to follow before you
apply are

• Plan your admission in Singapore well in advance,
  at least 6 months
• All the academic certificates, marksheets,
  transcripts should be in place
• If you have any backlogs you should be extra
  careful with your documents
• If you are aiming to apply for Top Rank
  Universities then the relevant exam language and
  aptitude for studying abroad i.e. IELTS/TOEFL,
  SAT/ACT, GRE, GMAT should be taken and score
  requirement must be fulfilled
• Usually Private Institutions do not require SAT,
  GRE, GMAT scores
• Fund arrangement for the necessary tuition fees
• Shortlisting the colleges or universities
  relevant to your further study plans

This is just the preparations for applications,
now the actual document requirements for
university application are

• Standard X, XII attested copies of mark sheets
  and the Bachelors degree (if applicable)
• It is not mandatory to submit the Letter of
  Recommendations from the employer/manager
  commenting on your professional abilities for
  Masters unless the application is for top
  ranking Universities like NUS and NTU or
  Institutions like SIM.
• Statement of Purpose (SOP)
• Resume
• If at all the University needs the score report
  of GMAT / GRE, IELTS / TOEFL, they need to be
  submitted
• Portfolio (in the case of you are applying for
  art and design courses and architecture
  programmes)
• If application is for Top Ranking Universities,
  then other achievements like State and National
  level Certificates and extracurricular activities
  is considered
• Proof of funds are required at the time of Visa
