Happy Classroom- Worksop

• A workshop was conducted for the teachers on
  "Happy Classroom", at The Modern School, BPTP
  Faridabad wherein the teachers were told ways to
  remain happy in the classrooms as well as in
  their personal lives. The most important tool kit
  for emotional self regulation was explained i.e
  S.T.O.P.P, it means Stop ,Take a breathe,
  Observe, Pull Back , Practice and Proceed. A
  formula was also shared to be happy in the life
  i.e M A D ( where M stands for Mindfulness, A
  stands for Appreciation and D stands for De
  Clutter). At the end , the teachers were divided
  into group of four and each group created their
  own formula to stay happy in their lives. The
  objective of creating happiness in your and
  others life was truly achieved by the group
  activity. Overall, it was an informative and
  interesting workshop.

Intra-School Football Match
Games are an integral part of the holistic
development which directs one to be competitive
while keeping the spirit of honesty and
camaraderie alive. Keeping with the same, the
Sports department of The Modern School organized
an Intra-School Football Match for students of
Grades P1-P3. It was played on September 16, 2019
and in an electrifying environment. All the teams
tried to outshine each other on the field to show
their mettle. Class P3 emerged victorious. The
team could be seen jubilantly celebrating its
victory after the match. We at The Modern School
always look forward to bring out the
sportsmanship and team spirit amongst our
students.

Fizz Pop Day

• The students of Grade P1 organized a Fizz Pop
  Day where in they learnt everyday Science in an
  amazing way. The students learnt about healthy
  food and they also prepared Chana Chat which
  everyone relished. The Junk and Healthy Gali
  explained the students the difference between the
  two types of food. The attraction of the party
  was the Toothpaste Activity.The students were
  told how to make their own toothpaste. The
  Principal applauded the efforts of the students
  and was delighted to see the students growing.
  Everyone had fun with a lot of music and healthy
  eating.

Polio Vaccination Camp
To support the polio eradication drive initiated
by WHO, The Modern School , BPTP organised a
Polio Vaccination Camp to vaccinate children
orally upto the age of 5 years. The Modern School
is the best school in faridabad always takes the
first step and supports all such programmes which
are in welfare of the society to create a healthy
nation. Needless to mention we always get a whole
hearted support from our parents to make them a
successful venture.

Pair Hunt Activity

• The students of Grade P1 did a Pair Hunt
  Activity on the topic Opposites.The cards
  having different pairs of Opposites were made and
  distributed among the children. Then, they were
  asked to get up and show their cards one by one
  and form the right pair.The students understood
  the concept in a play-way manner and enjoyed this
  activity a lot.

Thirsty Candle

• "Air is the most important element of life"The
  students of Grade P1 did an experiment 'Thirsty
  Candle. They put some water in a bowl and placed
  candle in that .Then they covered the candle with
  the glass and observed that the candle blew
  because there was no air. The students learnt
  that air is important for living as well as non
  living things and also required for burning.
  Experiential learning took place through this
  activity.
