  • Clean Every part of the fridge
  • Even if you give your fridge a quick clean once a
    week, there can be no substitute for cleaning
    every drawer, compartment and tray not

    Pour one teaspoon of bleach (if you can buy
    unscented bleach, so much the better) into a
    quart of water and use it to wipe down your
    fridge from top to bottom. To ensure nothing
    becomes tainted, make sure that the fridge is
    thoroughly dry before you put any food items back
    in.

  • Handles always have the potential to get super
    grubby, and many microbes and nasty bacteria
    could be lurking on their surfaces. So, always
    wipe the fridge door handle thoroughly after
    youve finished cleaning the rest of the fridge.
    Its a good idea to keep some disposable sanitary
    wipes handy near your fridge so that you can wipe
    the handle down once a day or after particularly
    sticky fingers have been using it!

  • Foods that can support bacterial growth such as
    eggs, should always be kept in the coldest parts
    of your fridge, towards the back.

    condiments, can be placed in the door where there
    is more temperature fluctuation.

  • Ramming your fridge chock full of items will only
    serve to prevent the cold air from circulating,
    and make it not perform as well as it should.
